Bringing coaching to more people in Reading for Intl Coaching Week

On 24 May 2022, we partnered with Connect Reading to offer free coaching sessions at our first ever speed coaching event. This was held to mark our three-year anniversary.

The event was opened by Reading’s mayor Councillor Rachel Eden. Our network of professional coaches were then matched up with willing punters who wanted to experience the power of coaching.

Julie Williams, Coaching Reading founder said: “Speed coaching works, especially when it's a celebration of all that's good about Reading. It was a joy to see our coaches in action, and to be able to share their skills, encouragement and warmth freely with our local community.

“We’re grateful for the continued support and enthusiasm of the Connect Reading network, and having the Mayor's endorsement was the icing on the cake.”

Connect Reading CEO, Lorraine Briffitt, said: “Having benefited greatly from coaching myself, I wanted our members to be able to experience how powerful it can be.”

Coaching Reading is keen to hear from other local networks, companies and community organisations interested in collaborating with us on future events.
